An amazing year of activities here in Oz - some great visitors and astounding sound presentations! Wonderful visits to South Africa, Brazil, Japan, UK and for the first time in a long time, performances around Australia. Thoroughly enjoyable collaborations with so many fine artists...Hummingbirds, Monkeys, sizzling cicadas and even Zebras....curious 'desert' pizzas, amazing breads baked by John Chantler and katsu-don from Takashi Ueno. My ten year wedding anniversary (love to becks!) and of course my dog schnapps at the door, lying, waiting for the breeze....

Increasing problems due to negligent management of fishing across most parts of the world - why do we keep just 20% of a catch and throw back 80% of the fish and other creatures dead into the water? Still more deforestation across the globe, Borneo, Brazil and so many other places increasingly loosing their virgin forest....soon nothing will be left. Writing seems to be on the wall and still no one seems to be reading it. And the question of time...and how there never is enough to get everything you'd like to see done...
